If you’re a US taxpayer and have installed energy-efficient upgrades, you may be eligible for the Energy Tax Credit. Here are the steps you can follow to claim the credit for your Broadleaf Interior Shutters:

1. Purchase energy-efficient Poly shutters from Elegant Window Fashions.

2. Make sure you install the shutters in your primary residence, and not in commercial / investment property or vacation homes.

3. When filing your taxes for 2024, use the Manufacturer’s Certificate to claim the credit. Download-Certificate

4. You’ll get a tax credit of 30% of the purchase price of your Broadleaf shutters, up to a maximum of $1200.

5. Please note that the credit only applies to the tax you owe and is not a rebate. Therefore, if you don’t owe federal tax for 2024, there will be no credit to be applied.
